The Very Good Food Company (VRYYF) Stock Gains After Announcing Copper Branch Partnership


What’s going on with The Very Good Food Company?

The Very Good Food Company (VRYYF) stock was slightly up after the Canadian plant-based food technology company announced a partnership with Copper Branch, a plant-based restaurant franchise with more than 40 locations in North America. Shares of VRYYF rose 0.27% and were trading at $3.60 per share on Thursday morning.


What does this mean for VRYYF?

The partnership means Copper Branch will stock The Very Good Butchers’ plant-based products at its branded in-store freezers, starting with eight Copper Branch locations in Canada starting this summer.

Very Good recently partnered with the Vancouver-based homegrown meal kit company, Fresh Prep, through which it will add its products to Fresh Prep’s extensive menu of recipes and meal kits.
